The War Has Boomeranged: Strikes Have Begun In Russia

Russians take to the streets in protests.

In Russia, outraged Russians who work at enterprises are going on strike. This was reported by the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.

It is noted that Russian enterprises have increasingly started to delay wages, send workers on unscheduled vacations, reduce staff or transfer workers to a four-day work week.

Such strikes have recently taken place at the Kamchatka company ZapsibGazprom-Gazifikatsiya, in the Kemerovo region at the Spiridonovskaya mine, as well as at the Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Combine.

"The crisis at enterprises today is most pronounced in coal mining, construction, metallurgical industry and agricultural engineering," the report said.

The SVRU added that Russia is trying to hide the scale of workers' discontent due to internet shutdowns, blocked social networks and harsh media censorship.

"Russia fears that the emergence of problems in the media could lead to a cascading effect of strikes across Russia," the agency said.

In addition, the intelligence agency recalled that 69% of the Russian economy is experiencing stagnation and Putin's associates are pressuring the Central Bank over declining revenues.
