The decision was influenced by the analysis of the market situation.
The administration of US President Donald Trump was mulling over canceling contracts with SpaceX. This came after a spat between Trump and Ilon Musk.
This was reported by The Wall Street Journal.
The publication's sources said that just days after Trump raised the issue of severing ties with Musk's business in early June, his administration initiated a review of SpaceX contracts.
The purpose of that review, the sources said, was to identify potential waste in the multibillion-dollar agreements the company has with the U.S. government.
But Trump administration officials decided they could not cancel most of the deals because they are critical to the U.S. Department of Defense and NASA.
According to the WSJ, the preliminary assessment confirmed SpaceX's dominance as the world's leading rocket manufacturer and a major provider of satellite internet.
