The police have deployed all their forces, and all services have been informed. Residents are asked to inform about the spotted object by calling 112 and never approach it. What kind of drone it is is still unclear," said D. Buta.
Minister of National Defense Dovile Shakalene said that the information about the drone that flew to Lithuania from Belarus is being clarified.
- I just spoke with the Minister of Interior and the Army Commander - the information is being clarified. Please note that today is favorable weather for weather probes, which smugglers use to deliver their cargoes," said Dovile Šakalene to LRT radio.
Delfi writes that the drone that flew into Lithuania could have been spotted by a member of the social network group "Lithuanian aviation / Lietuvos aviacija". In an anonymous post, he published photos and a video of a drone that looks like a combat Shahed or imitation Gerbera.
